About Christie Ellis
My Client-First Philosophy
Born and raised in Whitestone, NY I moved out to Arizona in 1996 to
earn my Masters in Social Work at ASU. I worked in the behavioral health
field since I came to Phoenix, but shortly after I graduated, Banner
Health sold off the division I was working for and things just were not
the same. At the time I was moonlighting in real estate and never
thought it would be my full time career. When my corporate cultures
changed I knew it was time for me to change, but how could I do that? I
just spent all that time and money getting my masters degree. When I
stopped and thought about it, real estate is the perfect venue for
providing an education, an understanding, and a sympathetic ear - my
passions. Buying and selling a home can be stressful. I feel my goal is
to relieve the stress and teach people how the process works.
During
this time of career change in my life I got married and we have two
beautiful twin girls. Here I am now: a mom, a wife and a business
owner. All this added to my better understanding of juggling work and
life with as much pleasure, and as little chaos, as possible.
Recently
I have added a new adventure to my bio. I have become a consultant for
Bob Burg International. Bob Burg co-authored "The Go-Giver" series and
authored Endless Referrals. I was motivated by the books and thought
it would be great to teach it to others. I was recently complimented with this quote from Bob himself, "Christie.
You have already earned the "know, like and trust" of me and everyone
I know who knows you. You are the embodiment of (to quote Stephen M.R. Covey in
"The Speed of Trust"), both character and competence". I was honored to receive this high accolade from such a trusted and respected source. I am so excited to be able to
combine them and be able to speak on these great books!
